Subject: Creative Director Application – Jonathan Grey

Hi Carrie,

You’ve probably noticed—I’m persistent. (The endearing kind, not the “alert security” kind.)

Saw the Creative Director role was reposted five days ago 👀. I took that as a sign from the universe (and maybe your team’s group chat) that you’re still hunting for the one. Good news: I’m still here. Better news: I left you a completely respectable voicemail at the corporate office, hoping that the sheer confidence and buttery tone of my voice might push you over the interview edge. Did it work? TBD.

Look, I get it. I may be overqualified on paper—but in practice, I’m perfectly aligned. This isn’t just about filling a role. It’s about helping P.F. Chang’s unlock its next level: unforgettable storytelling, a cohesive identity across every touchpoint, bold collaborations, and new revenue verticals like grocery, merch, and product placement. You’re sitting on a cultural goldmine. I know how to dig.

What I bring is unmatched dedication, big brand experience (Starbucks, Levi’s, Walmart, Quest, the list goes on), and an obsessive eye for making creative that sells. I’m happy to travel, happy to pitch, happy to wear a branded bomber jacket if needed. (Preferably with dragons.)

I know you're swamped, Carrie—truly. But unless I hear I’m not the right fit, I’ll keep knocking (stylishly, respectfully, with campaign decks at the ready). And even then, I’ll probably remind you that you’re missing out.

Hope to hear from you soon. Or at least hear that you heard me 😉

Warmest regards and wok-fueled ambition,
Jonathan Grey
